Discover EDC 

EDC in Eastry offers a range of dance classes at the local village hall.  As BTDA registered teachers we are dedicated to providing high-quality instruction in a supportive and fun environment. Find out how EDC can help you achieve your dance goals and increase confidence whilst making new friends.  A range of GQUAL examinations, medal tests and performance awards are offered but not compulsory in ballet , gym, acro, lyrical and contemporary . 

Our classes

We offer a selection of dance classes, catering to various interests and abilities. Whether you're interested in classical ballet, energetic jazz, or contemporary styles, EDC has something for everyone. Check out our offerings below!

Ballet

Develop strength, flexibility, and grace with our ballet classes. 
Ages 3 and up 

Lyrical and Contemporary 

Explore expressive movement and improvisation in our lyrical and contemporary dance as part of the Friday free movement class. 
Ages 7 and up 

Acro dance 

Acro dance is a performance style that blends classical dance technique with acrobatic elements. 
Ages 6 and up 

For ages 3 to 5 first steps gym/acro is offered as part of the ballet/tap class. 

Dance Theatre : 

Dance theatre blends movement and drama to tell stories through the body. It combines choreography, character, and visual imagery to create emotionally rich, theatrical experience. This is not musical theatre ... 
Learn speech, drama , scripts and blend into dance . Increases vocabulary , confidence and memory recall . No dance experience required just bring your imagination and enjoy story telling through movement . 
Age 7 and up

Toddler & Parent Dance Class

Ages 2 to 4 

Discover the joy of moving together! Our Toddler & Parent Dance Class is a playful, high-energy experience designed to strengthen your child’s motor skills, confidence, and creativity—while giving parents a chance to connect, move, and make memories. Through music, simple choreography, and imaginative movement, toddlers learn balance, coordination, and listening skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Each class blends structure with spontaneity, encouraging little ones to explore rhythm and expression while feeling safe by your side. It’s a beautiful way to bond, build social skills, and share plenty of smiles along the way.
